The impact roller itself does not have power and needs to be driven by large traction machinery for rolling construction. We often see large specialized impact roller tractors driving the construction of the impact roller on the construction site, but we also often see many construction teams directly using loaders to pull the impact roller for construction.

What is the difference between a 50 loader impact roller and a specialized tractor belt impact roller? Why can 50 loaders tow impact rollers and manufacturers still produce impact roller tractors? These issues have always been a concern for our customers. Today, the editor will explain them to everyone

Firstly, let's make sure that the impact roller hauled by a 50 loader is not the same as the impact roller hauled by a specialized impact roller, and there may even be significant differences, regardless of whether its model is labeled as a 25kj impact roller, a 30kj impact roller, or even a 32kj impact roller.

In other words, if a 50 loader can tow a 25kj impact roller, then there is no need for the impact roller manufacturer to make a dedicated tractor for the impact roller. In fact, almost all manufacturers of impact rollers have produced at least one type of special tractor for impact rollers.

The impact roller of the 50 loader is different from the impact roller of the specialized tractor belt, which is specifically reflected in:

1、 Different technical standards;

Although the 50 loader impact roller is labeled with the same model as the impact roller with a dedicated tractor, and even the labeled model of the 50 loader impact roller is larger, these models are actually non-standard models. However, for larger numbers, the actual model is different. The impact roller with a dedicated tractor usually uses national or enterprise standard models.

2、 Different sizes in appearance;

The following figure shows the impact roller with the same model designation as the 25kj impact roller. On the left is the 25kj impact roller with a dedicated tractor belt, while on the right is the 25kj impact roller pulled by a 50 loader. We can clearly see that there are significant differences in its appearance and size.

3、 Different sizes of impact force

We know that the larger the amplitude, the greater the impact force, and the deeper the impact depth. The size of the external dimensions of the impact roller directly determines its arc "corner difference", which is the "amplitude" of the impact roller. In other words, it directly determines the impact capacity of the impact roller.

4、 Different basic configurations;

The force is equal to the reaction force, and the impact force generated by the large amplitude and high-speed operation of the impact roller can reach several hundred tons, which naturally brings several hundred tons of rebound force. To ensure the stability and continuous operation of the impact roller under high load, the component configuration and quality requirements of different types of impact rollers naturally vary.

5、 The required traction force is different.

Taking the 25kj impact roller as an example, the impact roller equipped with a dedicated impact roller tractor requires a large traction capacity. Typically, the engine power of the tractor is 274kw or 266kw, while the engine power of our commonly used 50 loaders is only 162kw, with a significant difference.
