The Middle East is a Eurocentric term that refers to the region east of Europe and between the Far East and the Near East.
Specifically, it refers to the eastern and southern regions of the Mediterranean, covering a large area from the eastern Mediterranean to the Persian Gulf. Geographically, the scope of the Middle East includes West Asia (excluding Afghanistan), as well as some North African regions, which are also sub regions of Africa and Eurasia.
The term 'Middle East' is a geographical term used by Europeans and Americans. There is no consensus at home or abroad on which countries and regions the concept includes, but it generally refers to West Asia and North Africa, with about 24 countries, over 15 million square kilometers, and a population of 360 million.
The impact compaction technology of impact rollers has the following performance characteristics.
1. The impact roller has a wider requirement for the moisture content of the filling material for impact rolling. Traditional compaction methods require the filling material to have the best moisture content, while impact rollers have a wider requirement for the moisture content of the filling material, which can be relaxed by 3% to 5% in both the upper and lower directions. Basically, natural soil can be backfilled and leveled before being compacted, especially in arid or semi-arid areas where its advantages are more obvious.
The natural moisture content of fillers in these areas is very low, some of which are almost 0-1%. Only a small amount of water is sprinkled on the surface to be compacted by an impact roller, greatly reducing compaction water consumption and construction costs.
2. The impact roller has a large thickness and deep impact on the filling. Traditional compaction methods require the filling to be treated on the original surface before being compacted in layers. The thickness of each layer of filling is 0.3~0.5m, which has a long construction cycle and high cost.
The impact compaction technology can directly compact the original ground (old highways) and then carry out filling compaction, with each layer of filling thickness reaching over 0.6~1m, replacing the methods of excavation, soil replacement, and thin layer compaction, achieving efficient construction.
3. The impact roller has a fast and efficient impact compaction speed. The hourly compaction area of the impact roller is 4 times that of the traditional roller, and its compaction volume is 8 times that of the traditional roller. In large work sites, the compaction construction can fully play a fast function.
