After the opening of the "the Belt and Road" economic zone, the number of contracted projects exceeded 3000. In 2015, Chinese enterprises made direct investment in 49 countries related to the "the Belt and Road", with an increase of 18.2% year on year.

In 2015, the amount of service outsourcing contracts undertaken by China from countries along the "the Belt and Road" was 17.83 billion US dollars, and the executed amount was 12.15 billion US dollars, up 42.6% and 23.45% year on year respectively.

The connectivity project of the "the Belt and Road" will promote the docking and coupling of the development strategies of the countries along the Belt and Road, tap the potential of the regional market, promote investment and consumption, create demand and employment, enhance people to people and cultural exchanges and mutual learning of civilizations among the people of the countries along the Belt and Road, so that the people of all countries can meet and know each other, trust and respect each other, and share a harmonious, peaceful and prosperous life.

Over the past 30 years, China's reform and opening up has made tremendous achievements, but there are also problems such as a lack of top-level design, a lack of strategic planning, and a lack of emphasis on improving the international development environment. It is urgent to strengthen the systematic integration of various reform and opening up measures. Promoting reform through openness is the basic experience of China's reform and opening up, and the secret to its success lies in actively integrating into the world market to introduce external supervision for corporate and government governance, thereby improving governance efficiency.

However, the external supervision created by reforms at both macro and micro levels over the past 30 years is not truly external supervision. The supervisory subject is to some extent only the embodiment of the governance, not the subject from outside the governance system. The problem of low efficiency still cannot be fundamentally solved, and it is urgent to comprehensively deepen reforms. The "the Belt and Road" strategy is not only the general program of China's opening up in the future, but also the general key to comprehensively deepen reform.

By integrating into international governance and carrying out transnational property rights cooperation with state-owned enterprises, the implementation of the "the Belt and Road" strategy will further introduce supervision subjects from outside the governance system for China's economic governance, national governance and social governance, and create strong and more effective external supervision while effectively avoiding the limitations of "Western experience", preventing governance itself from being dispelled by the "short-sighted" market and adhering to the "four basic principles", Fundamentally address the issue of governance efficiency.
